My integrative style
More Than One Way: My Blended and Responsive Style to Psychotherapy
When you decide to start therapy, you're not just looking for a “technique”; you're looking for a relationship and a path to real change – and you are right, as research proves the therapeutic relationship is one of the most significant predictors of positive therapeutic outcomes. I welcome your uniqueness and individual lived experience, and that is why I don’t practice a “one-size-fits-all” model. My integrated approach offers a customised and holistic therapeutic approach.
The Foundation: Non-judgemental Empathy and Deeper Understanding
My work is grounded in two core models: Person-Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
With a Person-Centred foundation, our relationship is defined by the belief that you are the expert on your life, and my role is to create a safe, honest and empathetic space where you feel seen and accepted—exactly as you are.
A Psychodynamic core provides a deeper perspective to explore how your past experiences and early relationships shaped the patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses you carry today. We gently look at unconscious forces and relational history to understand the roots of your present situation.
Together, we can work on creating long-term, sustainable change towards more happiness and autonomy.
